Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan presented the Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar Awards to eminent personalities from various walks of life at an Awards function held at ISKCON Auditorium in Juhu Mumbai.on 7 oct.24 5pm.
Well-known film star Prem Chopra was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Governor. The Governor also presented the Award to writer /Director & Activist Mr.Ashfaque Khopekar, MLA Dr Bharti Lavekar, Padmashree Music Director Alighani, actor Sunil Paul, Indian Cricket Umpire Anil Chaudhary, Dr Basant Goyal, social worker Mustafa Gom among others. Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale, President of Buddhanjali Research Foundation Charitable Trust Kailash Masoom CSPA Genral secretary Atul Rajkule and other invitees were present.
